I WANT Find items by browsing the Directory or by entering keywords into the Search tool. Log in to save listings for later or view details. Ask the listing member a question using the contact information provided, or initiate a trade. The Try Me! icon means the listing member is willing to consider offers other than what’s specified. Check the status of your offer by logging in to your Account. I HAVE (Watch a quick video tutorial.) Create your listing and select up to three categories in which to place it. You may select Cash (under Goods) as your offering or as what you'll accept. Describe your offering and add a photo, up to five at no charge. Be sure to check the Try Me! option if you're willing to consider offers other than what you’ve specified. Select your contact preferences and list the contact information, if any, you want other members to see. Edit your listing at any time.
WE ALL WIN When you and another member agree to an offer, put your terms in writing, assign a dollar amount to the trade if it's a barter transaction (for tax purposes, if applicable), and make arrangements for delivery. Keep a record of your transaction, and rate your experience when your transaction is complete. If appropriate, delete your listing or create a new one.

The more open-minded and imaginative you are, the more opportunities you'll find.
After you've posted your listing, browse and search others. Check back often. Your ideal trade may be waiting for you!
Be clear about what you're offering and what you're willing to accept in exchange.
Practice due diligence when considering offers, and put agreements in writing.
If doing a barter transaction, you and your partner should assign an agreed dollar amount for tax purposes. (You’ll find a Sample Barter Contract here.)
A win-win deal is one in which all parties are pleased with the outcome. Aim for that, and keep in mind that it never hurts to leave something on the table.
